Enable WebGL in Safari
Safari enables hardware acceleration by default, and macOS provides no setting to turn it off. This error is therefore rare in Safari, and it is usually caused by an outdated version of macOS or by a browser extension.
Update Safari
- Update macOS to the latest available version.
- Update Safari to the latest available version.
- Restart your Mac, then open the floor plan again.
Verify the change
Safari does not expose a diagnostics page for WebGL. Open the floor plan to confirm whether it now displays.
If the floor plan still does not display
- Go to Safari > Settings > Extensions.
- Disable every extension.
- Reload the floor plan.
Several privacy and anti-fingerprinting extensions block WebGL by design. If the floor plan displays once extensions are disabled, re-enable them one at a time to identify the one responsible.
